Sustainable Consensus

Tokenizing carbon offsets on an energy-efficient protocol enables our users to offset their emissions without worrying about the emissions cost of the transaction itself, in addition to bypassing the need for fiat conversion. Paying for an offset using a high-emissions asset like Bitcoin or Ether is unnecessary and counterintuitive.

We fulfill our sustainable consensus requirements by building on Avalanche, which gives us the technical architecture needed to be secure, lightweight, sustainable and feature a delegated proof of stake mechanism needed for our Green Block Producers.

We achieve scalability using a newer consensus mechanism that is more energy-efficient, and feature a reducing need for replication across nodes, whilst maintaining decentralization. ImpactScope will achieve 99.9% greater efficiency than a PoW system such as Bitcoin.
