Direct Air Capture with Aether Technologies

ImpactScope has teamed up with Aether Technologies, a Hungarian engineer to enter XPRIZE, which utilizes Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology to remove CO2 from ambient air using a novel and low-cost material.

XPRIZE, a non-profit founded in 1996 hosts regular competitions to encourage technological development that benefits humanity and in it’s most recent partnership with Elon Musk there is a record $100m in prizes for the best carbon capture technology to fight climate change.

With this project, ImpactScope focuses on the concept and materialization of carbon capture and will collaborate with other teams to turn their captured CO2 into biochar through microalgae bioreactors.
