100% Green Block Producers

ImpactScope uses a modern sustainable consensus mechanism to achieve the greatest efficiency. However, to truly minimize any negative impact as much as possible, we also want to ensure that the small amount of electricity we do use from participants involved in block validation is sourced sustainably.

Therefore, we are using 100% green producers as our block producers. These are individuals and data center operators who have pledged to use 100% renewable energy sources while running their nodes. They receive compensation for validating transactions and securing the network.

Distributed green nodes will store all historical transactions so they can be verified in real-time by anyone who wants access to them. This is fundamentally why we chose a blockchain - a tamper-proof ledger makes it easy for everyone in the system to know exactly where every token has been at any given time.
